  • ALTAR ROSARY SOCIETY—The primary purpose of the Altar Rosary Society is to foster devotion to the Blessed Mother. Activities include recitation of the Rosary, a weekend retreat, May Crowning, trips and an annual Communion Breakfast. The society worships together at the 9:00 a.m. Mass on the first Sunday of the month from October through May. Monthly meetings are held on the following evening.
  • BINGO—Bingo is one of the Parish's fundraising activities to support programs and maintain the buildings and grounds. It is offered twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
  • BOY SCOUTS—The Boy Scouts of America provide an educational program for boys and young adults to build character, train in the responsibilities of participatory citizenship and develop personal fitness.
  • EAT SMART SUPPORT GROUP—This group meets monthly to discuss weight loss and maintenance. Meetings are open-ended and participants are welcome anytime. Often it's not so much what you eat but what eats you.
  • EMPLOYMENT NETWORKING GROUP—St. Gregory's new Employment Networking Group will meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays every month from 7:30 to 9 pm starting January 14, 2004 in the Parish Center. Are you unemployed or desiring career transition? Would you like to network with peers? Do you have a job lead to share? Or perhaps, do you have a job skill, e.g. resume' writing, interviewing tips, etc. that you can share with those in transition?   • FAMILY CARNIVAL—The Family Carnival is our biggest fundraising and community-building event each year. Held the third week of June, it features rides, jugglers, balloons, raffles, fireworks, food and lots of fun.  If you'd like more information or to join join the carnival team, please contact Betty  (587-0633) or Denise (ddmikics@aol.com).
  • FOOD CERTIFICATE PROGRAM—The Food Certificate Program is a NO-COST FUNDRAISER to benefit the school. The grocery stores that participate include Acme, Shop-Rite, Marrazzo's and Risoldi's. The stores donate 5 percent for every $100 in groceries purchased with the certificates. Certificates can be purchased by cash or personal check after Sunday Masses each weekend and at the Rectory during the week.
  • GIRL SCOUTS—Girl Scouts of the USA is dedicated solely to helping girls - in an accepting and nurturing environment - build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, Girl Scouts cultivate their full individual potential.
  • GOOD NEWSLETTER—This official newsletter of the St. Gregory the Great Parish is published quarterly.
  • HOSPITALITY SUNDAY—The Hospitality Sunday team prepares refreshments for the third Sunday of the month when the Parish family is invited to gather for bagels, doughnuts, juice and coffee - and a chance to get to know each other a little better.
  • KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS—The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, family, fraternal organization open to all Catholic men over the age of 18. Our motto is "Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism." St. Gregory the Great Council 7677 is an active Council that provides many opportunities to serve and enjoy fellowship in the areas of community service, church, and youth and family activities.   • K OF C WOMEN'S AUXILIARY—The Women's Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus provides an opportunity for Catholic women to gather and support charitable causes and to share their faith together. The Women's Auxiliary is open to all Catholic women over the age of 18.
  • MARRAZZO'S RECEIPTS—This program results in a donation by Marrazzo's Thriftway to St. Gregory the Great based on a percentage of all receipts submitted.
  • PARISH ATHLETIC COMMITTEE—The Parish Athletic Committee (PAC) oversees all aspects of sports programs within the Parish. The group meets the third Sunday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Center.

  • SENIOR CITIZENS CLUB—The Senior Citizens Club is a social organization open to all parishioners 55 years of age and older. The group meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month for a social hour and refreshments. The group sponsors trips and luncheons, and brings in guest speakers. Members of the group also pitch in when other members need assistance.
