The U.S. Congress and the President signed into law the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008, which will provide for economic stimulus payments to be made to over 130 million American households.  Under this new law, you may be entitled to a payment of up to $600 ($1200 for joint returns), plus additional amounts for each qualifying child. 

Last Sunday, a parishioner said they will be sharing a portion of the refund check they received to the Church of St. Gregory the Great.  What a great idea!
