SIGN-UP SUNDAY
MAY 5th & MAY 6th
St. Gregory’s Parish will be sponsoring the meal at St. Mary’s Cathedral for the poor and homeless on Saturday, May 26th. Sign-Up is being held in our gathering space after all masses the weekend of May 5th and May 6th. Please consider volunteering for any of the following activities.
Prior to May 26th we need:
- 200 volunteers to cook chicken legs
(recipe & pan provided) - 115 volunteers to supply a bag of store bought cookies
- 100 volunteers to supply one box of snack cakes
(ex: Tastykake/Hostess/Little Debbie) - 125 volunteers to supply one box of snack chips
(10-12 count per box) - 160 volunteers to supply a loaf of white bread
- 150 volunteers to supply an 8-pack of punch flavored juice boxes
- 50 volunteers to supply a container of punch flavored Kool-Aid 75 volunteers to supply a jar of peanut butter and a jar of grape jelly
- 25 volunteers to supply a pound of regular coffee
- Money donations as we will need to purchase other supplies
(Vegetables, coffee, milk, sugar packets, paper towels, etc.)
On May 26th we will need help with the following:
- Preparing brown bag lunches
(arrive 8:30 AM in our School Cafeteria) - Preparing food & setting up dining area
(arrive 9 AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral) - Serving meals(arrive 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral)
- Cleaning up
Please come to the table set up in our gathering space after Mass on May 5th or May 6th to sign-up. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
