An informational meeting for the 2025 Project Appalachia trip will be held for interested teens, their parents, and prospective adult volunteers. The trip is tentatively scheduled for July 12–19, 2025. This session will cover trip details, participation requirements, and include a Q&A.
Attendance is mandatory for anyone considering participation in the 2025 trip.
Teen Eligibility
• Must have completed 9th grade by June 2025
Adult Eligibility
While all adults are encouraged to apply, we are particularly seeking individuals with:
• Healthcare experience
• Experience working with teens (teachers, coaches, youth ministry)
• Kitchen staff expertise
• Carpentry or building knowledge
All adult participants must be VIRTUS trained and pass a background check in accordance with Safe Environment requirements.
Note: Participation is subject to limitations, including lodging, transportation, and work team capacity. We will do our best to accommodate as many participants as possible.
