Religious Activities
Pray the Rosary Series: Our scouts have earned the Pray the Rosary Series every year which helps the Cub Scouts learn about their faith. The Rosary Series focuses on a different set of Mysteries of the Holy Rosary and an activity describing how to pray the rosary. This is an opportunity for the youth and adults alike to learn more about their faith. All youth and leaders are eligible to earn the patch.
There are 5 activities in all. They are the Joyful Mysteries, Luminous Mysteries, Sorrowful Mysteries, Glorious Mysteries and Pray the Rosary. A beautiful 5" diameter patch is awarded with each activity.
Light of Christ medal: The purpose is to help the Cub Scout develop a personal relationship with Jesus. With the parents' active assistance and participation in this program, it is hoped that the Cub will come to see Jesus as a real person and his friend.
Parvuli Dei medal: This medal helps the Scout develop an awareness of God's love for each one of His special, unique created beings.
