More than ever, the St. Gregory the Great Community Anti-Hunger Garden will be only able to feed the hungry with your help, because of the extra economic stress on the parish from the Pandemic. Please consider donating items we can use or money to buy supplies. Please also consider donating your time—we can set you up with instructions for watering or weeding by yourself, so we can all social distance.

Five years ago, Pope Francis issued Laudato Si (click to read), an encyclical meant to challenge everyone around the world, and especially Catholics, to take better care of our common world. It is fitting that this fifth anniversary follows so closely on the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. During this time of pandemic, we need to assess how we can learn to make the world a better place for all people, plants, animals, and the Earth which provides all the resources that help all of us live.
The Pope has challenged us to “enter into dialogue with all people about our common home.”
